Great opportunity to network!

So I just got this great email from a young woman named Robin who has started a meet up on meetup.com called Tidewater Black Professionals and Entrepenuer network!  Apparently she has been following my blog and had some very positive things to say.  I am deeply thankful for her email and am glad to know that people find my blog useful! 

Robin will be hosting an event this Tuesday through her page on meetup.com which can be found here.  It is a speed networking event which allows people to network with others in an efficient manner.  I encourage everyone to check out.  After all how can you be a socialite without networking?

So today i attended one of Biz Spotlight's networking luncheon and all I have to say is if you haven't gone yet why not?  What is Biz Spotlight you may ask?  It is a network of locally owned businesses who gather to network with one another.  On top of it, if you join the network you are provided with a discount from several of the businesses in the network.   Attending one of these luncheons is a great way to get your business out there amongst the general public!  Not only do you meet other people who can assist you with you business but you also are provided a forum in which to bounce ideas off of other knowledgeable individuals.
