First off shout out to Terry Riddick, his brother Will, and Angela harris for putting together an amazing community event for the kids! Today I stopped by the free hair cuts for kids event put on by the brothers of Best Kept Secret. It was a great event with kids lining up to get haircuts. The event was full of love and it was an awesome opportunity to get involved in the Newport News community, give back and to network.
What is Best Kept Secret you ask? It's a local mentoring organization created by Terry Riddick but supported by many. Terry and his brother have started this organization because they saw a need in the inner city for black male leadership! They are truly a blessing to the Newport News community and they have my full support! I FULLY ENCOURAGE ANY AND EVEYRONE TO THROW THEIR SUPPORT BEHIND THEM AND PUT SOME ELBOW GREASE IN THIS CAUSE!
